Our New Clinic, CEPO, in Bangkok -- A unique collaboration!
Our new clinic in Bangkok is open! CEPO is the first center of its kind in the world. Our company, SOL, has been been working together with the Faculty of Medicine at Mahildol University and the only Category I school for Prosthetics&Orthotics in South East Asia, Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, SSPO, to create the Center of Excellence of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CEPO).
The Center is unique in the sense that it is the first center in the world where a private company collaborates with a government run university to offer prosthetic and orthotic services (P&O). This platform offers possibilities beyond what either party could achieve on its own. We work closely together to facilitate research and development of new techniques and materials and to deliver the highest quality of care available. We are also able to provide state of the art P&O services to patients using their government benefits as a way to partially fund their their assistive devices.
We strongly believe that this kind of collaboration can be a role model for other centers around the world.
